What's a real eye opener is the way the Israeli establishment is treating its own people, namely the Orthodox Jews who do not want anything to do with conscription due to their 'religious' lifestyle and beliefs.

For the first time this year I just saw on sky news the winner —- it was painful ( excruciatingly so )
I personally interpret it as a direct reflection of how international society has become.

I made it too the bitter end 90% garbage. Israels offering wasnt to bad but the majority of countrys were just taking the mick. Our offering wasnt bad but the extremely ott gay dancing was way over the top. The worst by a long way was Irelands screech noises, good luck trying to hum that one.
I just found the uk act disgusting and wrong

1. Uk entry seemed to be set in a toilet. Was it some sort of cottaging reference? The nil points I think is a reaction to the constant proto-gay culture. It was probably a step too far.
2. Netherlands Jimmy Savile lookalike turned out to be closer than initially thought.
3. The right song won I think. We had it down as them or Ukraine. No idea why people rated France so much.
4. Genuinely surprised Estonia didn't do as well as some. Thought they had a very catch song.
