So I’m after a bit of advice regarding my Edgun Lelya 2.0 please. I know there’s a few Edgun experts out there!

Since changing the regulator and hammer spring to a Huma sub 12 reg the power is around 8.5ft pounds when I fill the rifle to around 250 bar. As the air pressure in the cylinder decreases, the power then creeps up slowly to just under 12ft pounds at around 100 bar. The reg is set at 90 bar exactly as I set it up with the Huma reg tester. So to summarise, when the rifle is fully charged power is low, then the more shots taken, the power increases!? It took me a while to figure out what was going on as I was constantly adjusting the hammer spring tension chasing the 11.5ft pounds power level as the fill pressure in the cylinder changed!

It’s worth noting as well that the Huma regulator was a second hand one but I gave it a full service and changed and lubed all the seals before re-fitting.

Any advice or suggestions welcome please.

duff reg sounds like, hate to say it but I'd just buy a new one 🤷
Thanks for your reply. Yeah I was edging towards that conclusion myself. Do you think I should stick with the sub 12 Huma or the normal Huma reg and turn it right down to keep it sub 12? What about the hammer spring? At the moment I’ve got the ‘softer’ Huma sub 12 spring fitted.

I’m not sure whether you can still buy the Huma hft reg. Do you have the full kit with the spacer that covers the reg breather; and the regulator installed right up at the transfer port with the o ring removed to act as a breather?

I would try and get your sub 12 kit working. I’d love to have one of those in mine

I’m pretty sure I’ve got the black plastic spacer plug fitted and there’s the aluminium tube that’s also fitted that fits against the reg. I’ll have to take it apart and double check everything but I’m pretty sure I followed the instructions from the huma web site.

When I first fitted the HUMA 12ftlb kit to my Lelya, I had a similar issue. Shooting a full string over the chrono showed an exaggerated power curve. I was pulling my hair out for a few days until I realised the reg was installed backward. I turned it round and it hasn't missed a beat since. I was certain I had followed the instructions exactly.

If by the full power plenum you mean the largish aluminium tube then yes that’s fitted in mine and butts up to the reg.

I’m not sure how it could be installed backwards as it screws into the end of the cylinder tube housing? Or do you mean the belleville washers inside the reg were backwards?

I got carried away and hijacked my own post with the Taipan Slash sorry!
Still looking for advice and suggestions regarding the Lelya power/reg issue though………..
