When gun brands launch a Limited Edition (or possible Special Edition when numbers are not limited) ... does it get your wallet out?

Or are they wasting their time?

Examples are the coloured stock HW guns & the BSA's with coloured stocks and a Mug and Certificate etc

I wouldn't say I'm 'motivated' to buy one but if I see something I like, I'll get it... The Ghost Blaze is a prime example of that! 😁

generally limited editions are just different colours and a badge stuck on with a lot more £s stuck on too, internally the same as a non limited edition so wont shoot any more efficient or better,, If internals were tweaked or different I could see the reasoning but apart from that, Never shall I waste my money 😂

Voted yes as I have bought one but it gets used and I’m not sure I’d buy another. I certainly don’t see them as an investment.

I’ve got an AA Kymira that I traded for another gun. It was unused when I got it. Got a horrible uncomfortable stock on the thing.
I’d never pay extra for a limited edition rifle.

IF, its a limited edition of a gun you already want, and it offers "better value" because it comes with a bunch of accessories you would otherwise buy aftermarket...then go for it. Other than that...nope.

I voted No!
Although i did by a 2nd hand Ltd edition
(200 made) BSA Elite CLX, not because it was a ltd edition but because it's an upgraded version of the Ultra i already have, a real looker & accurate (my local RFD let me try it before i bought it).
Rick😜

Not personally.

What does interest me are some airguns where the total production run is limited though, for example the Air Logic Genesis (<200 made), Air Arms PP-1 pistol (~100 or so estimated to have been made), Titan JB1 (not sure how many made, probably a few hundred, but not a great many working examples left in circulation).
