As said above aigle parcours 2 are the mutts nuts. Brilliant boots. Only thing I regret is not getting the zipped ones as I hate taking any bloody wellies on and off haha.

If you want cheap muck boots do what they say on the tin. The aigles are a different gravy though.

Just ordered my 3rd pair of Demar EVA lightweight wellies 2 days ago. The previous two pairs lasted 3-4 years each and the only reason I had to buy new ones is I'd worn out the grips on the soles from high mileage. Very comfortable boots, moulded fit with plenty room for big calves, easy to slip on and off and light as a feather. They come with a removable fleece liner, I can't understand how I never see them mentioned when people ask about good boots, they are fantastic.

I’m liking my current Dunlop steel toe cap welly’s, very deep tread means I haven’t been without grip yet. The steel toe gives a good footing for getting up stream banks and I’ve not seen any signs of weakness yet. Maybe different if you are primarily walking but seeing as I’m more often than not messing about on a digger or tractor I’m grateful for the protection. Less than £20 definitely worth a go especially with some nice quality socks

Mine are from Aldi these days.. expensive wellies ha been there paid that still ended up with wet feet.. £30 had them 3years still going strong and if not I've got a spare pair in the garage 😁
Mine also are Aldi ones at £25.
My problem is lots of Blackthorn on my perm so I will not spend a fortune on Wellies.

I walked through my Aldi wellies in a couple of months, I was far from impressed.

I wear wellies all year round, massive problem with ticks where I shoot, so I've always got wellies and overtrousers on.

The wellies I'm currently wearing are Solign.... from decathlon I think there 3 or 4 years old now, I've just bust the clip on the side, but the grips good and they haven't leaked.

Sundridge hotfoot boots have a fleece liner and are superbly warm, although not great for walking
https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/Wellies-and-Boots/Sundridge-Hot-Foot-EVA-Boots.htm I use them for fishing.
However these are brilliant boots if you're putting the miles in and are waterproof

I don't normally go cheap, but...........
Screwfix Riggers, job done.

I’ve woodland neoprene, superb boots for the money (£50). Bit of a chance find for me but definitely recommended. 👍🏻

My Muck boots are totally fxxxxx , had them years, they've never given good grip on wet grassy banks even though the chunky grip pattern looks impressive.
I'm liking the look of those Skellerup,s someone mentioned, never heard of them. I would never get foot ware mail order, but there is a stockist in Easingwold , about 40 mins away from me, may pop there next week.

I'm vary wary buying any footwear. A few years ago I bought some expensive wellies, possibly Barbour, can't remember, but .....

Brand new, took a walk around a local reservoir , they ripped my heals to bits. I took a tooth brush to the soles got every tiny bit of dirt off them and managed to return them for a refund. Hence I'm vary wary when buying new ones, especially if expensive.

Agree!
When I mentioned to the farmer how I was having problems staying upright with my muck boots due to the steep slippery slopes he looked down at his Dunlop purofort wellies laughing and said “ just buy some of these”
I did are they’re brilliant . Not good for driving in but for off road use just fantastic.

There’s a few shouts for muck boots but a few saying they don’t last. I’m on my second pair and these have just about lasted a year but have split. The previous pair only lasted 8 months. My brother in law has same problems I won’t be buying again. Dickies neoprene boots also did the same.

I’m looking for an alternative to that type of boot to be honest as they are generally not long lasting. I might just go back to a pair of dunlops with thick socks.

I wear seeland wellies normally discounted with uttings or sportsman’s guns this time of year,, no problems so far had a couple of seasons ferreting with them

The EVA boots are worth a look, plenty on ebay.

Never mind the Kensington variety of black and green wellies, look no further than Aldi when they stock their neoprene jobs for around £20.

Must admit I like Goodyear deltas for winter use , but they weigh a ton so not for the usual 4 or 5 mile mooch about , main thing is they fit well as well . Best boots or wellies are crap unless they fit well . Always try them on with the socks you will be wearing so don't mail order unless you've had them before . Ask me how I know 😩 and done it more than once🙄🙄

I bought a pair of these last year and I can't fault them tbh, a fella at work uses them for fishing and recommended them to me, he'd had his a couple of years...
