Ive been offered a Daystate Mk4.....Ive no idea what it could be worth
It appears (to a novice) to be in good condition
Any help with a value would be appreciated

Also, it has a "computer" .....what does that do?
 
The old Mk 4 was and still is a great gun, price wise I am not sure, I think they have dropped in the last couple of years I have seen them as low as £450 and as much as £850.
 
The ones without a screen MK4, are basically the same gun as the ones with a screen MK4is (information screen), but the screen versions are far easier to use as you can see what your doing rather than trying to navigate the system of endless beeps the non screen version has, so prices reflect this.

The "computer" basically works like an electronic regulator and controls the hammer and air pressure balance to achieve your shot to shot consistency which is normally excellent. They have a great electronic trigger and a very quick lock time, they are no harder to work on than a regular PCP other than if the power needs adjusting this is something you need a programmer for, so don't buy one your not happy with power wise as you can't sort that yourself (y)

MK4 - around the £450/500 mark, MK4is, around the £600 mark (y)
 
I had 3 of them back in the day. A .177 mk4iS (computer), another in .22 and FAC also iS and the mk4 GP which was their top of the range FT action with....yep another computer, but this also had a chrono in the muzzel so it could regulate itself for consistent fps whatever the weather was up to. Nice, but I went back to a more basic platform and what that I knew would work and be supported for many years and I'm still shooting Steyr now.

Also, prices as have been stated already are a good guide but the only issue I had with mine was the sporter stock snapped at the pistol grip. It's a nice looking, but a weak design. Daystate sorted it but that was when they were making them.
 
Still have one, had it out yesterday and beat my wife with her Red Wolf in casual fun comps, but then, I am a slightly better shot, but she's pretty good in all honesty, and would give a few blokes a thrashing :ROFLMAO:
