Morning all. Happy Saturday
Looking a bit damp out, so looks like a day of wardrobe building for me. Top up my 'Brownie Points' account.
Have a good day peeps.
Good Morning Shooters, 5°c and Dry at the moment. Just arrived at the Urology Department at Wrexham Maelor. Hopefully it is a quick visit as we have a Shoot at the Wern Ddu Quarry today. Have a Safe and Happy Saturday
When you think about it, the same water that’s on the planet has always been here. It just gets recycled, over and over…. There’s no fresh supplies coming in from outer space!
The rain that falls on you today fell on the dinosaurs…. Shakespeare drank it, Ghengis Khan bathed in it and now it’s wetting your boots and hat.
Not to suggest that’s all you’re wearing, your boots and hat. Not to suggest it’s odd just to wear boots and hat. Whatever floats your boat…..on the ancient, recycled water.
Couple of trips to the tip and then a get together for a friend's 80th birthday yesterday afternoon, god we are all getting so old, but it was a pleasant couple of hours. Rain returned overnight so this morning the fields are a swamp. February has certainly lived up to the name fill dyke.
But it's the weekend and for those of us living in England we do not have to suffer watching England trying to play rugby .
Have a good one.
Big old red Pigeon has decided to move into the garden so trying to restrict bread to the four of so hanging fat ball feeders for a while- shame as like to put out half a loaf a day but he STAYS AROUND ALL DAY - Westie wanted out and it takes ten min's to wash and dry the mud off his feet. Poor old TonySTS and the building work in the field next door.
Fully wet and dry sanded and metal polished up the comp tube and the new Tinbum spring in my TX ready for lube. Did have to take the spring out for a reduction when I bought the rifle, but at that time, did not fit O Rings or any work other than clean the insides. Some great tech threads and ability to PM for advice, means if one has a problem, you soon have all bases covered. Wish I had bought one of these when I re started air gunning after a 40 year break... Mr Jesterdog has a smart Walnut TX I think, from one of the TX thread...
Wonder if Margaret13 has any thoughts on any new four legged additions one of these days after the loss of her family's Maisy...a little Miow or Woof Woof one day maybe? Will read the action later. ..
Good morning plinkers and sluggers️
Despite the bad back I had a great day at Eriswell lodge at Lakenheath yesterday and managed to bust a few clays and had a go on the airgun range
The decorators have finally gone and my replacement Zulus V2 has just been delivered , not a bad start to the weekend
Have a great weekend everyone
