Cutting the deck 2.1

Hi everyone been a while, had mislaid my cardholder in the move.

But found it today.

A 1961 Webley MK111 .177 @ 9ftlb

Open sights

Hobby .177

16 yards outdoors (bit windy today)

Seated elbow on knee.

Card wasn't quite straight the leading edge is on the left hand side.

10 shots (ouch!) two witness lines and one partial cut

Gotta say pretty tough getting back into imagining where card is.

But back at it (y)

Excellent shooting..... 16 yards with open sights - I struggle to see anything at that range, let alone the edge of a playing card!

Super Duper, Mike 👍🙂

Only a few more hours until the next journey commences so got the HW97K out.
Lack of practice shows but I still applied the 3-shot rule...🤷🏻‍♂️
Since the 3-card fan seems to be flavour of the month I decided I must have a go also.

After the first salvo from right to left,

5♠️ went down on 2nd shot.
Used the spare from 5♠️ to finish the 7♠️ on shot 4. + Second salvo spent on the 3♠️

Then on to some more traditional: 3 for the joker 🃏 and 3 more on the Queen 👑♠️ then finally 2 shots for a slither on the corner to corner 7♥️, but it's nigh impossible to see where the first corner actually is, so was quite pleased nevertheless.

Then moved on to 6-yard but the set-up on the 97 is not suited: 10 yards is the closest in focus. So hold under and pretty much guessing was involved 🤷🏻‍♂️

Still pleased that I finally got a chance to cut in July before the month is over. More travelling next week, then it'll be August.

I can't see it, but I can initially see the base it's in, so then a straight lift of the poa off the base, guesstimating where the card is.

Excellent training as it really forces maximum repeatable rifle control.

Well feck me, I am a technological guru( if it works, and don’t ask me how I did it) managed a video of a single shot at the cross cards
So close , cut the first and almost the second, watch to end to see other card , not a fekin clue how to edit it 🤣 someone let me know if it works please
