Anyone know much about these pistols?

I have waited years for one of these pistols to show up in the sales section.

I once purchased a .20cal brass barrel at Melbourne gun fayre and have yet to mate it to the right pistol frame.

Can anyone shed any light on these pistols? Are they sold in the UK and do they come in .20cal?

I see there is a loading gate. Does that mean it is calibre specific? ie it needs a 20cal loading gate.

Alternative, can I make use of this barrel on another model?

I am trying to come up with a winter project to fulfil wishful thinking and realise these spare parts. I do love a 20cal....

This is the barrel in question and this is something I downloaded off the net.

Looks like the loading gate is the same - but uses a calibre specific insert.
Should be easy enough to make if you haven't got the right one.

Thanks for that. That's a great start.

I've not looked in the box properly. Maybe it has that plastic insert as part of the kit. In it's absence, I can see a replacement can be fashioned relatively easily.

Anyone seen one of these pistols in the UK?

Bought one in my local many years ago. 2 barrels and rear cocking. .20 cal and .22 IIRC although it may have been .20 and .177
No Idea what happened to it.

I have a SSP-250. Made a loading gate out of 7065 for mine when the OEM plastic one's pins sheered off (even anodized it to match as you can see in the pic below). I have a .177 & .22 barrel for it and plenty of inserts in .177, .22 & .20. I'm on the hunt for a .20 barrel if you ever want to rehome that one LMK.

looks well
a few years back i did brass ones with most going to the US
i still have at least one 2250 and a fair few 1389g's
i did make a few pellet inserts inc some .25 ones

Loving that collection.

I don't mind rehoming it but I get the feeling there is a hard restriction for any arms trading to and from USA. Dealers I have contacted in the past have just refuse to send airguns or parts across the pond when I enquired.

You could do well making these replacement parts as I read that these loading arms is susceptible to breakage.

I have a few Co2 pistols but my favourite has to be the Crossman SSP250 as this is the best shooter. It has been a labour of love bringing this back to life since being given it 20yr ago as a box of bits. Quite a few key parts were missing, some came from USA and Canada.
Got it working and after a little fettling and
acurising shoots 10p piece groups at 15yd 40 shots per powerlett at full power. It has a low power setting on the cocking plunger, not sure how meny extra that gives but great if you want to shoot indoors.
Intended for Shilouett shooting in USA a heavy gun at 3lb weight and 14 inch long with a 10 inch barrel.

Cheers for the reply,
Yes the loading gate has a audience over here, when I posted it on a couple forums was a surprising amount of interest in it. I had the OEM gate scanned so I can get a accurate model for it (have a CNC to make more).
I have imported a couple airguns from the UK (and parts). Krale & Bagnall and Kirkwood has never had an issue. I will look back at my contacts and inquire with them about costs of that. Cheers. Few more in my airgun lineup:
