What would be a reasonable cheapish make of 3x9x40 compact scope just for back garden shooting. Anyone any ideas please.

Hi, Thanks for commenting. Around the 20cm long. I have a tiny 3x28 on it at the moment.

I recommend MTC Viper Connect 3-12x24 (287mm)

Cheapest one I can think of that is truly compact (less than 10 inches long) and of acceptable quality is Vector Veyron.

Have a look at the t-eagle range, the 1-6 mag are 250mm and perfect for the garden

Just had a quick check in the back garden it hold focus through most of the range but you will have to adjust parallax to suit your distance. For the money they are great scopes…shop around to get a deal

£69 with mounts mine came in under two weeks from china.
2-10x32ao this is the one I’ve got but there is another one 2.5-10x32 with side parallax same price.
Went to the range today and zeroed at 25 yards made up a range car from 8y-45y works lovely.
