Ok after this years holiday I may be looking for a compact carry squirrel/ratter in .22,
I would absolutely love a Leshiy but no way I can sneak a couple of grand past Mrs T! Give me your choices for something I can carry in the woods easily? Let’s say £600ish but preferably less! Oh pics if possible it has to look good as well!

A Kral NP03 is a great choice. It's lightweight and easy to carry and well within budget, I bought mine for £250 used. Or around £360 new, I think

Are you taking all the PCP kit or have access to refill?
Have you considered a springer?

I generally use PCP's and the above NP03 should work off a hand pump at a push, or the NP02 if you want a high shot count.
I am trying to get back into springers, to keep my eye, and hand in, so I've just picked up a COMETA Fenix 400USC.

Either the AP900 or the NP-03... We use the Kral as a club rifle and it's great straight out of the box. The AP900 benefits from a little bit of airgun surgery. 🙂

PCP preferably I have access to a charging bottle and a compressor at home, to old for that hand pump nonsense 😅

I like the look of that Kral! What’s the shot count roughly for .22 fully charged?
I get about 80 to 90 shots from mine, and would join others here in recommending the NP03. Rugged, loads of spares and after market parts available, and pretty good value too.

Yet another nod towards the np03 as Im a Kral fan 👍

Plenty of Turkish offerings in your remit, np02, Breaker Bullpup and Breaker Carbine or ‘K’ and their cousins the Reximex Myth, Myth lite, Lyra K, Lyra Bullpup, Pretensis K

Remember you’ll need to add a silencer to most Turkish stuff or fit a shroud, lots of parts are interchangeable and you can make your own ideal rifle, heres my .25 ratting Kral and it’s been .177 and .22 as calibre changes are easy enough
