Close call with the circular saw

This bloke lost a couple of finger ends and had the nails tattooed back on.

Mates stepdad lost two of his when on Brighton Marina build years ago, they fell into the sea.
BIt lesser but still close useing a small angle grinder cutting up some stuff, it skipped and as i moved it gyroed twisted and locked up in my jumper sleeve. Hospital few stitches in wrist and lucky not to hit tendons i was told.
Them type of things can bite !

Had a few injuries over the years, this one wasn't done by the blade but an offcut of coloured laminate one the table saw.
I was cutting the angle off a Steyr lg110 cheekpiece I was making and it flew off, sliced my thumb before hitting me in the chest and under the chin, it hurt like hell.

Hope you heal quickly as mine took ages.

Mark.

Not exactly an injury - I was cutting a length of pallet wood into 8" lengths. Rushing to get done, the wood hit the edge of the blade as I advanced for the next cut. The poor quality wood split and a thin sliver shot off into my left hand. I've had loads of splinters over the years but as I slowly pulled it out, I was amazed and fascinated by it's depth, about 1.5"
Just like minor splinters, no blood and quickly healed
