Anyone had dealings with this shop in Birmingham City centre?
Came across them by chance whilst browsing the Web.

Prices seem reasonable and just a 30 min train journey from me .

Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Yes, I bought a Parker Hake Dragon off them some years ago.
All great although it needed some adjustments which took a while.

Overall, I would use them again and sometimes check their website.

Hi ive bought couple items off bob one was a rifle it had a issue took it back changed it on the spot for another one no fuss absolute gent always has time for you.

Bob is a character and the shop is an experience, double check the opening times though 👍

Used them loads of times - if he hasnt got it no-one has in my experience. Well worth the trip. Had an issue with a Baikal Mak and he switched it on the spot.

I seem to remember, on the old forum, something about a company with a very similar name (maybe up north) and everyone said avoid avoid….can’t remember any details tho..

Am I going mad…..?

I used to live in lincoln and I can confirm that there is a city air weapons there. The guy in lincoln is a bit volatile to put it mildly 😂

The one in Birmingham seems to deal with a lot of high end target rifles and I have heard good things from others about the shop.

Bobs a gent he has sold me a couple of rifles over the last year, the shop is as said an experience but it is rammed full of stuff which I would buy if you could get at it. He did say to me that he was suffering from the "clean air zone" as people are put off visiting if you have to pay which is a shame but that is Birmingham council for ya!

I've never been but had he stayed put in the previous location I'd doubtless be a customer because I moved to within ten minutes of there a few years back. Pretty much around the time he moved. 😆

I think there might be a fair bit of ignorance about the driving tax (I refuse to call it by the con job terms such schemes operate under) and I include myself in on that.
I gathered, entirely wrongly, that I'd have to pay but having entered my reg in a while back it appears I wouldn't and I'd hazard anyone driving something even relatively modern will be fine. My car is relatively ancient, hence the assumption I'd get my arse kicked if I took a wrong turn on the Ring Road.

Anyone interested in going but has concerns about the ripoff tax, the below will tell you. Hopefully it gets a few more quid in his till.

Strange that air can be cleaned by giving money to the council 🤬

Yes, it's not like the ten and twenty pound notes are made of nice absorbent cotton any longer, the new polymer ones won't hold onto any airborne particulate matter. :ROFLMAO:

There you go. That "City" actually being the City of Lincoln.

I went to it on a visit to Lincoln a month or do ago, looked pretty shut down to me, shutters and locks haven't been opened in a while.
Just a mobile phone number on the side door.

Don't bother is my advice. Lincoln is nice though.

The shop in Brum was helpful when I needed some RTI bits, great old lad to deal with.

I bought my TX200 from Bob.

Chrono'd it for me before I left the shop. Excellent.
