Chronograph recommendations please

Afternoon All,

Probably been asked a million times before but looking for a chrono; will be for some air rifle testing but mainly my slingshots!
Dont want anything that breaks the bank but something half decent!

I would imagine the FX would be better than most for the scenario of a slingshot. You could strap it to your knuckles and let the radar find the shot without any kind of aiming through a light gate slot.
 
LMBR. Not always easy to get hold of but well made, bluetooth and mains adapter also available although I haven't ventured that far yet. More versatile than an 'on barrel setup'. Others will disagree. It works for me.
EDIT: Sorry if for a slingshot has to be as @bflat7 says, the tallest LMBR. Plenty of room to not shoot the LCD.

Whatever you get, don't get a Crony Alpha, I found mine to give very different readings dependent on lighting conditions ( bright sunshine vs cloudy vs indoor LED) to the extent I could not determine which was correct. I also had many frustrating times waiting for outdoor light to change to get any reading at all.

I have had an LMBR for a few years now which beats the Chronic Alpha into a cocked hat in every respect.
