The old Webley Omega carbine has still got it and married with the jsb pellet or slug as we used to call them, took out this sneaky rat that tried to hide among the long grass contemplating if it should make a run to the food source or not.

Nice work, I don’t see to many day time rats, difficult I would think, as I Imagine it would be easily spooked out in the day time…

Day time rats normally indicate numbers are high. Once food starts to not be enough for a population the more aggressive rats feed at night and younger or not so robust rats are forced to feed in day light when its not so safe for them ie cats, birds of prey, dogs ,people more likely to about etc
