Asking for a friend!

As some of you may know, I'm on my path to buying my first gun, and I've been going target shooting with a couple of mates.

Well.....

My list of possible options includes both the Reximex Mito and CP2, and that's got one of my friends thinking.

He's got a Walther RM8 and a Artemis pp70 SA, but he's eyeing the Mito and the CP2 with interest as smaller lightweight carbine options, for when getting the RM8 out is a bit over kill. He's also mentioned a Walther compact rifle.

He enjoys target shooting, but he's also in a situation where access to a "permission" basically involves walking out the front door as he lives on a small holding/farm, and has plenty of farming friends in the local area.

He's not much of an Internet person, so I suggested I ask the question and see what you lot suggest, as I've picked the Mito and CP2 for their abilities as pistols rather than carbine.

I wouldn't advocate the mito or CP2 for pest control unless your talking rats at very close range..

The RM8 ultra carbine would be a better choice or perhaps a Kral NP02 or 03

As above, add the Kral Empire XS into the mix or an Ultra CLX .22. Avoid the .177 CLX, prone to issues 👍

Possibly the Walther Reign?

Avoid the ‘pistols with a shoulder brace’ for pest control, because they’re legally limited to 1/2 the power of a rifle. Of course, if you’re just plinking then that doesn’t matter.

My go to paddock rifle is my P35,,very lightweight,,with the shroud removed and mod fitted directly to the barrel using a webley rebel adapter it is super short,,extremely accurate and I've been shooting it over 3yrs now,,a friend of mine has recently acquired one for woodland squirrel control and he's really pleased with his too,,,personally I'd avoid anything Co2,,,pic of mine with and without the shroud,,

Can't fault my Kral NP03 for the money does need a moderator though.
