Great you used 'Pica Pica'. Over the years I've taken the time to learn the scientific names of many birds. Probably linked to the fact I was a gardener, then nursery worker many years ago.

It’s just one of those Latin names that has stuck in my head and very apt as pica pica means eat anything, I do it more with trees as I did forestry in my younger days……dom
 
The much anticipated 'Magpie' three-in-one chronograph, flash suppressor and day/night foresight entered the market in late April, 1898. Following immediate and extensive negative feedback on its design flaws, safety, and poor M.O.Y. (minute of yard) accuracy, it was removed from sale by mid-May of the same year. The designers were obliged to return to the drawing board and the following year released the first Hawk W.T.F. with illuminated retinae.
