Unfortunately my Sightmark Wraith won't fit on my Snowpeak AP1000 due to height of magazine.

So thought I'd try a small red light lamp.
£20 from Amazon. Before looking for a dedicated day/night vision scope for the ap1000. But they're not cheap so we'll see how this red lamp does.

I do have small lightweight Sytong NV but that's dialed in on my Kral and don't want to move it.

I've mounted it up top, the piccatinny scope clamp is mine and doesn't come with the red light. The light at the side is a white light.

What comes with the light is everything you need, charger, AAA batteries holder, and an 18650 battery, rat tail button, figure of 8 scope clamp, piccatinny clamp, hard storage box, etc.

I used both 3 AAA and switched to my own Molicel 18650. The 18650 seems a bit sharper, but the range on max focus giving a small 2-3 ft square diamond illumination is only really good for 25 - 30 yards on a quick back garden test this evening.

I'm planning to zero rifle at 30 yards this weekend and test this red light.

Hope it does ok as it's a very small and light red lamp ideal for a lightweight rifle.

agree with above Iv got a red torch bigger than yours and its right at its limit 25-30 yards, I have got a super bright ledlenser p7.2r i believe? im tempted to try a red filter on as its pretty small but very bright

I’ve had some good results on rats with a powerful red light at short range (under 15metres) You may struggle at 30.

Tested it on top of tree is 30 yards away and it's easy to pick out fine detail through x50 scope on x12 mag.

But pic below is from my phone camera, not through scope, it's not that great at night and my hand not that steady but it's an illustrative oic.
