Thinking of buying a second hand BSA R10 se, previously had a Weihrauch HW100s, anybody had both? How do they compare? Cheers

The HW has the superior build quality if that is important.
Had both , but regret letting my HW100 go..but didn't like the thumbhole stock...would have another .. the full length .177 HW100S variety.
Sold the R10 but kept a .177 Scorpion as a HFT and wife's garden rodent gun.

I've had both , hw100 is easier to work on , both equally as accurate , I now have a Ratworks tuned r12 clx pro it beats them both for accuracy , don't no about reliability as I haven't he'd it long enough

I own an R10 and although never owned an HW100 I've had the use of one.
Tbh I couldn't tell the difference in accuracy so it's down to the usual BSA regulator scare stories.
Mine is still going strong but I'm always wary it'll go at some point, so if you really lime the R10 then go for it, it's a really accurate rifle with massive shot count, but keep the cost of a new Huma or Lane reg set aside.

Roughly how much would that be? Thanks

Got both BSA R10 and HW100 KT and there is very little between them on accuracy, but I still prefer the traditional flowing lines of the BSA.

Have an R10TH .22 in black pepper laminate, and is a fantastic rifle both for looks and accuracy, and my 2 regular shooting buddies both think its the best looking rifle I own, and I have 9 🤔

That’s really nice mate

I picked up the R10 SE in Black Pepper, such a lovely looking air rifle. I love the bolt action mechanism, very smooth to operate, i love it. I have never tried a HW100 (yet), but certainly am happy with the BSA.

HW100 has an anti-double load feature but the R10 doesn’t.
R10 stock is more ergonomic.
Plenty of tuning/upgrade options for either gun.
Both are decent enough out the box but can be improved as most PCP’s can.
