Has anyone been to The Bristol Activity Centre Air Rifle Range?
Any thoughts; feedback, good or bad would be much appreciated.
Many thanks.

I’ve been a couple of times. Nice range out to 90m ish. Covered shooting bays so not too cold this time of year. Only one loo which can get a bit stretched when paintballers are playing. Cafe on site , awesome bacon rolls. Staff quite friendly but are other activity centred so once you’ve signed in they leave you to it generally. Free air from plumbed in system, Foster connection.

I'm glad I stumbled on this! I saw the paintball and bubble football and things and wrote it off as a "Airgun experience - Pay £30 for 10 shots" kind of deal without bothering to actually read the website. That'll teach me!

I’ve been there once was told you have to book in advance so it was no good for me .
I’m a driver and finish different times each day
I’d rather just be able to turn up shoot on the day! .
But it looks well set up and tidy if it suits you to pre book.

Only been there for paintball & crossbows on a stag do. Got a cheapy medal as best shot but no idea about the airgun side of it

Just seen this old thread re the range.
You can do walk ins, i do it quite regularly. Weekdays are generally dead and Ive often been there on my own.
2 or 3 hours can be booked. £15 for 2, 18 for 3. They do memberships now but the benefits are limited. Members can book 3 hrs for price of 2 and theres a free baseball cap from Bristol Airguns should you wish to collect it.
Range is marked out with various (poorly maintained) metal/steel targets, resettables, 17cm traps at 30 yds, spinners etc sometimes too rhe grass is allowed to get a smidge too high which buggers you on the 30yd traps but i just rip it all up in front of mine.
Range is 10 yards out to 100+ yds. Out to 50 its every 10 yds in rows then i'd say after theres a few resettable targets dotted around at 60+ out to the back fence which is around 108 yds which is plastered in shoot n see's for the sub12 snipers. 😁
Up to 50 yds its quite flat but from there the range inclines quite a bit.
A few of us have built stuff and left it there which they dont appear to mind.

All in all its a great local range and one down side is the wind that can ruin a shoot after 35 yds out. It swirls quite badly which is also down to the range being so close to the M5 as the traffic can make it worse.
There is a thick earth/tree bank to the left as you look down range which helps but it can still become a wind tunnel. But as others said, great cafe, friendly staff and a lush bacon butty. Sundays can be mad for parking when the A/Soft lads and lasses are in.
Hope that helps.
