Think I’m now finally 100% happy with the set up, but I may look at a lightweight 3x prism some time in the future 🤣🤣🤣

It’s a .22, I reckon it will do 150+ shots from 300bar to 150bar, I only did 2 mags (38 shots) and the fill pressure dropped by about 35 bar 👍

The R means it’s capable of lower power settings, but I’ve fitted a Huma Regulator kit and it’s set to 140bar, it’s 100% reliable at this pressure, i have tried it lower but sometimes the trigger would do weird things

The V3-R is regulated, right? What is the regulator set at?
No.

V3-R is unregulated (think of it as “minus R” not “dash R”. It is an unregulated GK1 developed to be safe sub 6 fpe (which can’t be achieved with standard GK1s).

V3 Regulated is the other sub 6 GK1 - the regulator being the previous sub 6 capable version (probably an interim solution really).

And yes - their designations are stupidly confusing !

Picked up GoGun trigger guard with a lower picatinny rail

Yeah, the original one has always seemed a bit odd to me

Strange turn of events, I shared the Olight Baldr picture on instagram and tagged Olight, they have reached out to me and are sending a Olight Osight X Advanced to test and review 😂

I am sure you will love it, I have all 3 of their current offerings, i prefer thier RMR, the S over my Trijicon RMR HD for my GK1 in pistol format,

What’s the difference between the X and S? Is it just the size of the dot? 3moa vs 2moa?

different footprints and overall size, the S is smaller and lower to the barrel than the X, S is better suited for a pistol the x is more suited to the carbine set up, easier to align your head, other than the physical dimensions, they have the exact same feature set

Are they sending you a mount Bren? You will need one; they do a high and low Picatinny mount. I use the reddotmate mounts personally, but I do have the Osight mounts as well.

Again, the Osight mounts are more suited for the carbine config and the Reddotmate the pistol config.
