BOG death grip

Anyone using one and found a good way to clamp a synthetic stocked gun without marking it ? My wildcat soft touch hasn’t liked being clamped and I’m a bit dubious about crushing it by clamping too hard.

Also a Leishy classic , does anybody clamp that somehow ? I figured some sort of adapter might be needed in order to allow it to be cocked…

Any advice welcomed ( other than being told to ditch the synthetic stock ;-)

Mind price has doubled since purchasing occasionally they are offered with decent price reduction

Artcise carbon bowl head tripod with a standard Camera Arca Swiss swivel mount
Find this type of tripod far more sturdier than the ball head tripod setups the vertical locking handle is underneath gives great advantage for locking off

That is a nice set up - I’m going to have to look for some adapters for the BoG I think

Like the extra flexibility the bowl head tripods offer you can either fit the standard adapter to take a ball head mount or pig saddle

Or fit the bowl adapter and 75mm bowl head and use this as the platform
this is our preferred option
