Blackbrook

I used to go to blackbrook a lot even though the benches felt way to small to fit the length of the rifle on. I did mention the bench size to staff and was basically told take it or leave it. A while back they stopped non members placing out their own targets, but with the bench issue I’ve never felt buying a membership was worth it.

However they put a post on their Facebook page yesterday of them extending the length of their benches, so I may just no have to buy myself a membership, especially with the recent price drop.

They are definitely moving in the right direction by listening to the shooters.

As above, let my membership lapse as they started to get antsy about your own targets put out and safety inductions, spoilt by the idiots wandering into the ranges during live fire, fair enough in reality.
It’s a fantastic facility and moved on facilities wise so I’ve heard since I was there.
I will be going back at some point soon, try my hand at HFT 🤞

I had a great session there today, not been for weeks so was looking forwards to it. Started off in range 3 then took to the woods with my HW77K, went right round to the FT style course closest to the A38. I’d seen something which annoyed me so went back to range 3 and cleared up the litter folks think they are entitled to leave in there, priceless isn’t it particularly when Chris has reduced the prices slightly to help with cost of living.
Finished off on one of the HFT courses with my HW97K, a most enjoyable day.
It took me less than 5 mins to pick that lot up so please take your litter home in future.

Absolutely 👍 Chris &dave work hard to keep the range clean and tidy and accessible to all and are constantly trying to improve the range for everyones enjoyment, why can’t people just take their rubbish home is beyond me
Well done @The Squire

I have not been for a while for numerus reasons but have to commend Chris and Dave for dropping prices so will hopefully be up soon to support this great range. I have always found Chris and Dave to be helpful with their time and advice.

Last time I was there early this year we were charged £17 for a none members. Only four people plus me and a friend on the courses on a Sunday morning. What are the fees now if they have been lowered?
Cheers
Shawn.

There’s no excuse for littering. There’s a bin right outside the clubhouse.
