Best Value For Money Daystate for Hunting

Happy enough with mine

I have been tempted to buy a Daystate sub 12 for hunting, but I am not sure which one would be best when value for money and general ease of use is factored in to the equation. It would mainly be used for shooting off sticks and around sheds on my farm permissions.

I like the look of a Walnut Red Wolf, but is it twice as good as a Revere?
Is a Wolverine a compromise between the two? I appreciate one is electronic and the other two are mechanical, but that doesn’t really influence me one way or the other.

I currently have a Rapid which I’ll never part with and an AGT Vixen which is a great lightweight rifle with the side lever action, but ideally I would like something that combines the strengths of both of these, but with a traditional rather than a tactical appearance. I’m currently favouring the Revere, then the Red Wolf and finally the Wolverine. I know I’ll have to see them all to see which one fits me best, but if you have owned any or all of these rifles I would be interested to hear your views. (y)
Can only offer my opinion on the Pulsar which I own and I know is a marmite style!

Against the HW100 and all other mechanical triggers I have fired and used it is by far the most consistent and clinical rifle.

I've used for ratting, HFT and plinking and it is great for those.

Best of luck

Yep, Stock is nice...The right hand side is better....I'll see if i can find a photo.
I normally have a DS Airstream6 reflex on it (You can see the shading from the silicone from the internal O ring on the end of the shroud).
I was just trying it without the airstream when that photo was taken. The Airstream is now back on it and I would make sure it was on if I was going to use in the field.

I would love an Air Ranger Tactical. Actually I would like 2-.177 & .22:)

I don't have a Ranger Tac but I do have a AirWolf Tac .177 which is a belter!

Yes. we've learnt that you dont like them, and take every opportunity to put them down. Believe it or not, most of them shoot well without problems, as most owners will attest.
I had two and both absolutely awful and that just the guns , as for daystate, well

Don’t forget the ignore function on the Forum guys, it’s really useful in such instances! ;)
It’s a forum so respect what others have to say , you may not like but that what makes a forum wether you like it or not
