Best tactical rifle around £1300

I think it looks the bomb mate. I’d have it even if it done f’ all
Thanks bud. 👍🏻😂

If it made it worse I wouldn't have it on.
If it shot the same I'd keep it on too, the fact it's super loud gives me a right buzz when shooting it haha.

The ghost isn’t a bad bit of kit

Gotta be the S510T for me.
Lazer accurate & built on a well known platform.
Loads of customisation options.

Airgun of the year 2023.
Pretty sure Air Arms have won 4 of the last 5 years too?

How do I get a bit more info on the stripper please, not a thing of beauty but form over functions wins the day.

BKR Ghost or the Uragan are well made every oner I know that has a sub 12 fx is constantly messing with them and end up moving them on although the crown is pretty decent in tactical form

I can't fault the Vixen. It's not perfect out the box but it's still bloody good. Minor issues sorted and it's amazing!

Cheers bowser. It’s a tricky one. Living in Cambridgeshire I’m not exactly spoilt for choice for air rifle shops, it may well be that I need a long car journey to somewhere that has all these in stock. Certainly seeing them in the flesh and shouldering them would I’m sure soon help make my mind up.

I would consider an FX. I never thought the tactical look would appeal to me but it does and I feel the need to have a gun that I really like the look of…so I “want” to use it.

Coming out of a 2 year house refurb, working 7 days a week I’m excited to take up this new hobby. Appreciate your reply
Dont buy from the countrystore whatever you fecking do .
Thats sound advise.

Cheapest and maybe an option is BSA Ultra SE with specialised stock, scorpion tube and Huma reg.
Second hand and after build about £750 and will kick the shit out of guns twice the price

Owning an air rifle is a never-ending journey of buying another one. I had a Meteor and fancied trying PCP, so along came an Air Arms 410 carbine, which I still love - a real classic. When my grandkids started shooting they struggled with the bolt on the 410, so I thought I would get a sidelever, maybe a lighter one, so along came HW110K. It never seemed to really gel with anyone, so a Katran followed, which is just a beautiful and superb gun. It is so accurate and lovely to handle. I missed the classic lines of the 410, but loved the sidelever, so along came a Revere, on the basis I would sell the HW110 to help pay for it. When I took the scope off the 110 prior to advertising it, I found that it was a different gun without what I hadn't realised was a heavy and unbalanced scope. I put a 3-9x40 on it and it handles wonderfully. I can't bring myself to sell it now.

I haven't sold any of my guns, so now have five super air rifles, and I don't care.

I'd like one on mine for the same reasons. What's yours a 177 or.22 and if you don't mind how much is it ? 👍

I echo the suggestion to try out any gun before buying.
I am not really a great fan of tactical rifles. I prefer a nice bit of wood. Having said that, during a visit to Lukeypoodle Towers last year he showed me his then new Katran C. Enthusiastically waving it towards me (with the muzzle pointing in a safe direction I hasten to add) I thought, meh!, just another tactigun but about 90 seconds after getting my paws on it I was hooked. I shouldered it and it just felt.....
.....right.
Coupled with the superb engineering, light weight and reported stunning accuracy, I wanted one.
Within a week I'd placed an order with Chris at CDR guns and within a month I'd flogged a couple of unused target pistols and had the finance in place in time for Chris's next factory delivery.
Within two months it was in my grubby little hands, and I wasn't dissapointed. It continues to delight to this day.

AND I HADN'T EVEN BEEN LOOKING FOR A NEW GUN

So try what ever takes your fancy, but the right gun will choose you.😁

Time now for a gratuitous picture of @Lukeypoodle 's Katran C and my Katran standard:-

And thanks to @Lukeypoodle and Chris at CDR guns, @Mekon88 for helping me fill a gap in my life I didn't know existed. 😂

I would like to upgrade from my break-barrel to a PCP. But a budget of max 1300?

Why are these things so expensive? Yes you could pay that for a full-bore firearm which has to cope with massive chamber pressures. But 12 ft/lb?

A powder gun is just a hammer to hit expensive ammunition. A PCP is an expensive rifle to blow cheap(ish) ammunition.
