What kit/files do members use to deburr their springers?
I'm currently trying to resurrect a hatsan striker but can't believe how rough the metal work is finished.

Diamond file on my leatherman Wave+ came in handy .

You can use emery paper of the required grit and wrap it around a lolly stick or whatever is needed for flatter areas. A small fine file is useful for rougher edges, just to remove the worst but emery paper...(or wet and dry at a pinch)...will give excellent results, no need for special tools unless honing inside the cylinder in which case some suitably sized dowel, (thats posh for a bit of broom handle), and...yep...emery paper. Hope this helps.
Cheers
Chris.

I have a tool I made with coarse scotch pad taped to a dowel then wrapped around it, I then put a long wood screw in the end and cut the head off leaving the shank exposed.

Stick the screw in a drill chuck and spin it in the compression tube. For bigger burrs a file is still needed, but the above will sort the sharp edges.
