Best edditing app for making videos

Hi guys

I'm looking at getting some sort of edditing app so that I can make some shooting videos with footage from my camera and my digital scope.

I dont mind paying for for a decent one just out of my depth and have no clue as to what so consider

I edit my YouTube videos on my Mac using Davinci Resolve (free version). Have tried many many others, and have settled on this one. It looks a bit overwhelming when you start using it, but there are plenty of tutorials on YouToobe. And it's free. (works on PC too).

Have a look at the Movie Maker Video Editor fro Microsoft (free download) - I am an absolute numpty when it comes to video editing, but was asked to look at some footage by friends who were threatened in France so that they can send it to the Gendarmes. Simple and very easy to use if you only need basic functions.

Cheers mate I will take a look at that, sounds like it could work for my need

I'd like to possibly put a box in screen with an additional clip or pic in so will have to look into its features, like I say I dont mind paying for one if Its worth it

Also if I could use it on my phone that would be better
