If you had the Skout you should have just bought the Skout tripod designed for the gun

I can only speak from personal experience, but I must be really unlucky or amazingly picky, as neither of the two UTG Recon 360’s I have purchased new have been any better than the £20 Atlas clone I have in terms of ‘play’. A genuine Atlas or Acu-Tac is pricey, but built to a tolerance that makes it clear what you are buying is quality engineering. That said I have become a fan of the Dolphin Ranger for general use, better imo than the Recon 360, but not Atlas/Acu-Tac money.

Either way, interested to hear how you find the 360, like many things, BR sounds easy, but actually doing it and chasing those x’s in the search of a perfect score is much harder than it looks. Don’t get sucked into a money pit though, a relaxed and confident attitude with proper technique and repetition is arguably more beneficial than a new shiny thing a lot of the time.

Only thing I don't rate with the Atlas clones are the feet- fine on grass or rough carpet table tops, but useless on hard/smooth surfaces. The rest is all manageable though.

The only reason I don't have any now is I have a Ranger 2 Wide and a Xamorest which give me a wider footprint and both have twist extension legs instead of notches so I can fine tune position better

Another vote for UTG 360 and mounting as far forward as stability allows, made a big difference for me at 50m

Just be careful when angling the legs, they're pretty stiff by design and there's a lot of leverage on the rail so make sure you press the release down hard before twisting
