Love the Cherrys, grew up with a huge one in our front garden, now I just have this little fella in a pot for eatting cherrys, birds took them all last year 🙄 but hoping I get to try some this year.

All the Maples look great at the moment also, hasnt been too hot yet so they are all fully out with good colour without getting the young leaves scorched early in the season 👌🏼

Love trees in blossom, but struggle to enjoy the scent from apple, cherry. Right now Hawthorn is starting to bloom and that deep scented, almost sweet aroma is truly amazing.

Oh wow where are you? the Hawthorn has been and gone here, is such a nice sent.
Picks up the mood when spring arrives for sure!

Hi, I'm across the river from you - Gravesend / Meopham area. We have some Hawthorn just starting and others nearly reaching full bloom.
Oh haha! Must be slightly different variety's maybe, was surprised at the time difference.

Edit: in fact I think im mistaken, the hedgerow at the bottom of ours might be Blackthorn not Hawthorn

Yes AW, the blackthorn is first to bloom.
Over there on the old farm near Ormesby, we had some big hawthorn trees that were the overgron remains of a hedge.
You could walk under them like a canopy, and the beautiful heavy rich scent when they were in bloom was nearlt too much!
It was overwhelming, but nothing ever put in a bottle ever smelled half as good as those hawthorns!
