A wet room is just a very expensive way to ensure your toilet paper is always at 40% humidity and your socks are never truly safe.

Because of my wife’s Dementia I had our bathroom converted and it was a good decision.

Wet rooms are much nicer, no dirt and scale around doors etc, but they need a good sealing to be confident they dont leak into other rooms. You need a very confident fitter you can trust.

The clue is in the name "BATH room". When I was looking for my house, a "shower room" was a dealbreaker.

We forsook the bath and went for a walk-in shower. Don't regret it but every now and then I really fancy a soak in the bath...

Of course, it depends on what the room can fit, but years ago, when I was delivering bathroom fittings, I had a 7 foot bath on my van, to take to a hotel up in the West End. It was a cast iron bath as well, and it took four of us to get it off the damn van....At a shade under 6'4, a bath is a pointless waste of space to me

It has not been quite that long for me, but it is very rare I have a bath, showers are so much easier & quicker.
Just relying on my irresistible manly pheromones…Hope you have a good deodorant by now.
AND much cheaper for us cheap skates…
