BARPC May The 4th be with you 25 Yard Bench Rest shoot

As today was "Star Wars" day we shot a different 25 Yard Bench rest card today.

The aim (pun intended) was to hit the 2mm red dot (same size as a normal X circle on a 25 yard BR target) randomly positioned on the Death Star surface representing the infamous Exhaust Port the X Wings had to hit. Scoring was brutal and was

• 10 for clipping the exhaust Port
• 20 for an Obliteration ie direct hit
• 1 for hitting any other part of the Death Star
• -10 for hitting space or outside the square and a penalty point on your X wing Pilots license

The black shadowing of the Death Star wiped out some folks reticles, making aiming a complete pain, Some folk even struggled to find the red dot and shot the death beam circle. However great fun was had by all who shot it and the air was coloured every so often with a good few light hearted swear words inter mixed with phrases like "these are not the holes you are looking for" .. "Hit or Hit not, there is no miss" .. "I find my lack of hits disturbing .." and a Lot of "Help me Obi Wan, you are my only hope"
