Bargain small compressor/hand pump filter?

You all seem to be talking about the filters but the ad seems to be for the adapter as well or is that just misleading advertising. I've just received my Vevor compressor so I'm not sure what I would be buying here. Is this something I need? Should I buy or wait until I know what I'm doing? I haven't even opened the box yet, I've been so busy.

The 95p was for the filter body, male and female foster connectors and a bunch of tampons.

Don't bother to buy these at the higher price Al, I got 2 of my original small blue ones you can have. Let's get together when you get time and see just how much filtration you are going to need for a gun tube fill only. Alex @Avalon may be able to advise and save us reinventing the wheel.

Only have anecdotal experience - the blue/gold pencil style filters that you got first can be overwhelmed if filling something like a Maverick or topping it up regularly on a Tuxing - it’s literally how I started. You will however get away topping up something like a PP700 as it’s a much smaller vessel to a lower pressure, you can also double up on filters and extend run time/fill capacity.

Sadly the answer of what works for one person filling one vessel isn’t universally applicable to another filling something bigger/smaller in a different environment and to a different pressure. I worked my little generic Tuxing hard with multiple guns and ultimately a 0.5ltr and 2.17ltr bottle, it’s no surprise it needed additional filter volume.

Cheers Alex, if I remember correctly, Al @GridNorth has a Gamo Phox so not a huge cylinder. I was thinking the filter that comes with the Vevor and 2 small blue would be enough. When my medium filter arrives I can free up the one that came with my Ying Tong for him as well.
 
I've ordered one, let's see if it actually turns up.

I think it'll be ok for using in line on a bottle but I'll try it at low pressure first!
 
I'm going to use mine as an indicator, thats all - the main filtering will be done by the bigger one.
 
Yes I noticed the huge price increase, just have to wait and see if it turns up at the original price, mind you I have just bought a watch that was in my watch list at £88, and it's just come down to £17, so I ordered, bought a watch that was just £9 a while ago and its fine, so you never know.
 
I ordered one at £1.14, still to ship, refund in 7 days if it doesn't. I don't hold much hope of it actually shipping.
 
Mine is still "to ship" but several of my past orders from aliexpress have taken a while to ship.
 
This thread feels like ‘My first time buying from Ali-Express’. It’s not unusual for it to take a few days to ship, it’s normal for it to take a few days once shipped to change status again, worry about it in November when it’s due.
