I kept a 'Microsoft Technical Support' scammer on the phone for nearly an hour! :ROFLMAO:
I deserved an Oscar for my doddery old fool act....in the end he lost his temper, and told me to 'f' off because I was too stupid!

Best hour I have ever spent on the phone!(y)

JIm Browning has some classic scambaiting youtube videos....I believe he's one of the top fellas with taking down big scam call centres!

Likewise, I have no idea how they do it, but Jim, and those others that work in the same field, are modern day saints.
They deserve medals for what they do.... especially when they actually intercept a live scam in progress, and save the victim by warning them via phone!

Should have been dead easy to spot this one after all who the hell would admit to coming from Tottenham?
Genuine residents of N15 would tell you Wood Green or Seven Sisters, they would only admit “Nam” if they were being water boarded or questioned in a comfy chair by the Spanish Inquisition

That is a fair comment but now and again some do seem to feel the need to make an announcement, sometimes actually starting a thread to announce the dread news.
Which is pretty pathetic.

I would be happy to my friend, but my accounts have been frozen, and my wealthy relative is stranded in a far away foreign land.
All I need is a small advance to regain access to my accounts, and naturally this will be repaid as soon as I can rescue my wealthy relative.
