Just curious what the best way to apply CCL to a walnut stock? Do you use a lint free cloth or simply rub it in with your fingers? Thanks
Always been a big fan of fingers & heel of hand, to apply, spread & burnish in...fingers won't spontaneously combust either.Just curious what the best way to apply CCL to a walnut stock? Do you use a lint free cloth or simply rub it in with your fingers? Thanks

It's not bad...just a drop at a time, on a fingertip, cover all you can with that drop & another drop & then another... It'll be a multi day, multi application process.ThanksSounds messy but I’ll give it a go!
You might get blisters if you rub it too hard though....lolAlways been a big fan of fingers & heel of hand, to apply, spread & burnish in...fingers won't spontaneously combust either.![]()
It wasn't totally a joke, I did getting a gloss finish on my sons R10 stock....with the ccl the longer & harder you rub it you can get any finish from Matt to gloss, great stuff ,& a little goes a long way, I refinished 4 stocks from one small bottle. You might get blisters if you rub it too hard though....lol
