Never part of any scene, but I do have a ratty vespa vbc. Polini 180, mikuni from a Suzuki gt250, many hours porting, had to weld the clutch basket to stop it flying apart ... Good fun!

Yep had a blue one also went like stinkI turned up to a couple of scooter do's on this Italjet Dragster 180 and got scoffed at!

I owned a Triumph Tigress 250 for a good while.
Only rode it relatively few times and local rides - but nobody would buy it off me!
(Bought for the then girlfriend but much too heavy for her.)
Lots of weird stuff around in my youth - and cheap enough to buy out of curiosity.
But real bikes are more my thing.
My long suffering uncle owned a metal polishing business and had lots of panels for scooters in to chrome or copper plate for lads I knew
Only rode it relatively few times and local rides - but nobody would buy it off me!
(Bought for the then girlfriend but much too heavy for her.)
