I've a hankering for an SSP5 but very few UK dealers seem to have them.

Has anyone any experience of buying direct from Novritsch? They list the UK as "easy" to ship to but does that mean customs will be okay? How does the warranty work?

Has anyone bought direct previously?

I have used them for parts, spares BB's etc. and that all works fine, shipping is quick and efficient. I suspect that shipping of a pistol will be ok but check what shipper they use and what evidence is required in respect of your 'defence'.
Now as for the warranty...... my SSP5 had issues with feeding etc and they were not offering any more help than contact with their service team in Austria with back and forth emails. Be warned though, you may reply to their email in a few minutes, they take several days to get back to you. At least they did in my case.
I believe Negative Airsoft, Luke, does some warranty work for them if needed but not sure if that's just for AEG's.
Once working they are very nice pistols, get 3rd party magazines though as theirs caused a lot of my issues.....
Hope that helps.

You will probably need UKARA if buying from outside the U.K, even then Border Force can be a law unto themselves. Patrolbase also want UKARA unless you have it 2 toned.

Thanks for that, is there a specific magazine you would recommend?

You can bank on WE or TM Hi Capa magazines depending on which you prefer.
The Novritsch ones have gone through V1 and V3 plus there were also 2 different versions of the feed lips which are stamped 1 or 2.
Others will probably fit as well.

I bought an ssp1 from them no problem but was couple years ago.
I’m thinking of moving it on but would have to pop it in sale section
