Any full powers guns comparable to a hw30

The hw30 is just perfect at what it does. Shot mine for an hour tonight and came home with a big grin on my face like a giddy school boy. They have very little recoil and are incredibly accurate due to this. Is there anything comparable full powered or around the 10a that’s made to run like that and has the same characteristics and very little felt recoil etc? Something made to run at that power and not detuned for the uk market etc.

Might be worth buying one of the 'known' good guns and just de-tuning it to a lower level of power? That would be my plan anyway, All the weight and build quality for much higher power but used at a lower level would probably work well IMHO.

I do have various guns including a tuned tx200 which has little recoil and is a mighty fine gun but just doesn’t do it for me the same as the little hw does. Just wondering if there’s something out there made for 10-11 with a small light piston etc like the 30.

There used to be a Webley Excell, back in the 90s, light, just over six pounds, had a brilliant nylon spring damper insert, when you fired it, no twang, just made a dull thud, but it's party trick, it was full powered, 11.5, loved the rifle so much I bought one in each calibre, last of the true Webleys, the only thing that exist now is the name, with guns made in Turkey I believe ? .

The old hw77s have the same size piston as the hw30 ie 25mm. More weight to counter recoil also.

Nothing will be exact as the 30 has such small volume, possibly a 99 or a Fenman.
Just don't get a Lightening/Supersport.

I did wonder if the 99 might be comparable. It’s one of the guns I’ve never owned.

My friend NickG's 23mm HW80 comes close, as does a lot of his reduced cylinder TX tunes - but as has been said, the handling is far more increased than the diminutive HW30...

There is only one answer, a .22 HW99 at around 10 ft/lb, it’s hardly any bigger, designed for sub 12, same trigger.

The 80 & 95/98 are not the answer - much heavier, and much happier at 14 ft/lb+ They all take work to make them soft at Sub 12, and all could be described as lazy once you get them there.
