You can it yourself. I've done some archery equipment but it wears off easier than the commercial job.

Place I used to use . They do one offs and the cost was good but I have not used them in years. The son took it over .


They do a few different coatings .

Main Process:





Anodising on Aluminium: Natural, Satin and Black. Chromating on Aluminium: Clear and Gold, ROHS (NCT), Hard Clear / Black.
Chemical Blackening:
We offer Chemical Blackening the following:

• Brass
• Steel

Barrel Zinc:
We accept small bulk batches such as screws, fasteners and brackets.
Passivates: Clear, Gold and Olive Drab
