Hi all,
Took my Reximex Leiva up the club today for a bit of l.s r at 20 yds,I am finding the standard butt pad a bit slippery as its plastic.
Just wondering if anybody has upgraded and what you have fitted, ideally looking for a thicker rubber one that is a straight swap.
Thanks

You're not likely to find a " straight swap", more likely a " grind to fit" unit. One could go " custom", old school & cover existing plate with saddle " skirt & fender" weight leather ( 12 - 15 oz ) & be ~ 4mm - 6mm thick. Standard contact cement to affix. Older/ modern " London Best" guns & rifles use this approach.

You could wrap it with leather as above .

Find a buttpad close to the size you need and grind to fit or find an Gunsmith who can do it .

JSR may have one that is a close fit .

Speak to @rockdrill .

Thanks,I will probably end up sanding one down, the shiny plastic one for me is all wrong and too slippery.

Can you checker the butt pad.
Horizontal grooves with a hacksaw.
Criss cross if your feeling adventurous. Then dress up with a file.

Yes i could Neil, thats an option but the gun is a tad short for me and I fancy a nice thicker rubber one which I think will improve the hold for me.
Thanks
