All those who got a compressor for the 1st time recently..

I’ve had a GX Pumps CS2 for 18 months, get used most weekends and never struggles to fill to 300bar 👍
Looking at those on Amazon earlier

Got a Vevor jobbie for less than £100 on here, does a job but I don’t push it past 200bar

I had a Spritech compressor that failed about a week before the warranty ran out. I replaced it with a GX CS2 that has been running without any problems (knock on wood).

They just let me keep the busted Spritech, and after replacing the cylinder and piston (couldn't find parts, could find the whole assembly) I got a spare for relatively cheap.

Hills EC3000 directly from there factory about 2+ years ago working perfectly 👌. Used to top up 3 litre and 7 litre carbon bottles from 250 bar to 300bar...

Amazon special it owes me about £20 a few of us got one from the forum a couple of so years ago . Mines still working fine so no complaints only had to change the battery in the temperature gauge about 10 months ago . One of life's rare utter bargains I think .

Hills latest one but don’t know why as i only have one rifle now so don’t use it hardly , My lates lads 3ltr bottle gets filled with it more than anything

I don't bother with bottles
I've got a GX CS-2 from Amazon
Had it about 9 months
It's used to fill 3x PCP rifles which it does well.
Touch wood, I've had no issues with it & would recommend.
I bought this one because I wanted it was 12v / 240v so give me the option of using it from a battery if there is no main power, which I do quite regularly.

Would this fill a 3l bottle ?

I was one of the lucky ones who picked up a Yong Heng type water cooled compressor off Amazon for £35 a couple of years ago.

Only fill guns and 0.5l bottle but had no problems with it until the burst disk went last week.

No worries only a a couple of quid for packet of disks and two minutes to fix but also good to see the safety features work.

Very happy with it and personally think water cooled is the way to go.

I got a Tuxing off Amazon for £140, works fine, runs off mains or 12v which is handy.

Doe's get a huge amount of use to be fair, I prefer springers.

.

I have a Vevor that is around two years old. I don't use it much and sometimes it's easier to use the stirrup pump on my Gamo Phox as it only has a small cylinder and never let it drop below 100 bar to keep a consistent shot to shot velocity. Saying that it hasn't given me any trouble although there is no method of maintaining it as there is no oil or grease port. For what it cost me I am happy to wait until it eventually gives up the ghost.
