I have tried Heavies and it really did not like them, so far it likes JSB 8.44 and QYS Domed and Streamlined heavies. Still got more testing to do.Jsb heavies 10.34 is a you need. clean the barrel! I find on all Airmaks the pistol grip is too small, consciously lightly grip it and your groups will improve!
Tbf I only tried them when I first got the rifle so now it’s “bedding in” more I might try them again@Ed 86 wow, I'm surprised yours doesn't like heavies, mine (and the Krait) love them. Tighter groups than exacts/aadf although not a lot in it
I have actually found single loading pellets in the groups to tighten a smidge and the flyers do go away. On my mag there is a bit if wear already on the edge of the pellet loading hole, almost like the probe or pellets are rubbing on it.Just to add my experience... I had a CB and it was a brilliant little gun, but I found that the standard mags weren't great, and occasionally seemed to give me the odd flyer. I bought Carm mags and a single shot loader, although just used the loader and no issues at all.
I did find the Katran to be quite a sensitive gun, and it didn't seem to take much to fluff the shot. If I did my bit it was a very capable gun and I would have another.
I generally don't trust any mags at all, and shoot everything as single shot.I have actually found single loading pellets in the groups to tighten a smidge and the flyers do go away. If I was in a competition I would go single shot but the kid in me enjoys the multi shot of a magazine.I generally don't trust any mags at all, and shoot everything as single shot.
I bought a Kalibrgun Cricket 2 Tactical a few weeks back and bizarrely (for me) went .22. I liked the fact the mags are very similar to the HW100 mags, i.e. no moving parts. It's been a really good gun, but part of me regrets not getting a Vulcan when I had the chance then.If I was in a competition I would go single shot but the kid in me enjoys the multi shot of a magazine.
On my Vulcan 3 I use 3D printed mags and they are more accurate than the AGT mags.
Nice, I have been looking at them for a while now.I bought a Kalibrgun Cricket 2 Tactical a few weeks back and bizarrely (for me) went .22. Red grips. SortedNice, I have been looking at them for a while now.
The Vulcan 3 is deadly accurate and built like a tank, but it is a no frills rifle and very heavy and pretty much un-modifiable. The Katran is definitely more slick and useable in my opinion, I just hope it can keep up in the accuracy department!
All the colours are nice but there’s something about red on blackRed grips. Sorted
That looks the business! does it just slide over barrel and secure with grub screws then?
Ahhh I see. Yeah it would be a bit large in diameter to clear the bottle. No it screws on like original Shroud when Hal first made it he did use grub screws like you said but then we went for screwing it on like original
