Airgun BBS trouble again

I have not been able to access it properly for weeks. Would download one page , then only partly download the next one.
I thought it was because I was abroad at the time but still occurred when I got back.
 
It's an ongoing thing and even when they tried to bring it up to date a few years ago it went down for days until they got it back up.

Time to move it and bring it up to date ? or will JSR just pull the plug ?
 
There are 2810 viewing right now so working for them !
Maybe its overloaded traffic

No idea why they don't just update it, it could be money, but they don't seem to let folk know what's going on??

I hope they get it sorted mind, the more shooting related sites the better, and it's good for ex members on here who have been banned and want somewhere to go Shrug tt

Do you not remember the last time they tried to update it ?

Poor Andy ( BullBarrel) must have been bald if he was not bald already trying to get back up and running. .
It was off for a few days if not longer than that.

JSR members of the family who are members of the BBS to the best of my knowledge only posted on the forum to sell stuff they could not sell in the Shop. Very little posted by them that I saw from when I joined to the day I left there.

Last time I heard of the owners getting involved in how it was run was when Baz ( R I P ) was demoted .

I was actually banned there back in the day by the former Baz himself... 😁

I informed another member why Baz always seemed to have time to be online;

"-It's obviously because he's retarded"

The intention was to use "retired" (=not working) but it came out "retarded " (=not (properly) working mind).

English can sometimes be tricky when it's not ones native tongue. It's easy to fall into the trap of linguistic "false friends".

The words "retarded" and "retired" sounds far more similar from a native Swedish speakers point of view then imagineble from a native English speaking persons comprehension of the words.

Baz didn't appreciate this, neither my explanation.. 🙄
