Air Arms FTP900 Help/Advice needed

Bought a used late 2018 Ftp900 months back, its in mint condition but struggled to find the pellet that made it the the rifle it should be.
was at the range the other month and a friend just happened to have his chrono there so I put a few through it, 6.19ftlbs was the most it would muster with 8.44grn jsb!!!!
So I have fitted a new Lanes reg set at 105bar, new knockoff valve, new hammer spring, new breech seal and transfer port adjuster wound out,
with the hammer spring wound to max it still only musters 7.95-8.10ftlbs!!!!!
Were these rifles ever built to 10.50-11.50ftlbs?
Any Ideas Chaps.

arent there 2 transfer port screws on these ?

did the previous owner say it was ok for power ?

daft question did you try backing the hammer off ? sometimes less is more

There are but one on the left side is anti tampered with ball bearing knocked in, so don't want to play with that just yet.

try starting witnh the hammer spring low and work your way up

how do you know the reg is at 105 ?

Not tried it in multiple stages but lower its back to 6ftlbs and it does not have massive amounts of adjustment before trigger don't engage.

how do you know the reg is at 105 ?

I have no reg tester for this reg but Rob lane said its set at 105 and if I drop old reg back in its approx same power, which to me means they are both set around the 100ish bar setting?

could it be missing a plenum spacer ?

have you asked mr lane about the power ?

The blanked off adjuster could have worked its way in blocking too much of the port, they are short and held in by a few threads and some sort of threadlocker, can you remove the barrel and see how much the screw is blocking the port. My ftp reg is set at 95 bar and gives 12ftlbs easy.

the reg does end up in tube but comes with end cap which is the plenum.

No not spoke to Rob yet.

90 to a 100bar is right for a ftp9
do not set the power with the venturi screw full open . it needs to be midships so you can fine tune open or close . .

as for your problem. discharge all the air . remove the hammer . then get a rod and check the exhaust valve travel by pressing on the stem .

So had another play with the FTP, Tried removing barrel, removed the 4 grubscrews, it will twist maybe 1/4 turn and pull out 2-3mm but it don't want to pull out and i don't want to force it. Could the transfer port grubscrew be wound in further enough to be preventing the barrel removal?
On another note tried it at the range yesterday and now its at approx 8ftlbs its shooting a lot better, if i can get this adjusted for another 2ftlbs i think its going to be perfect.

Yes I have already replaced the breech seal.

Has anybody ever removed the lefthand side transfer port anti tamper screw, is there a ball bearing knocked into the grubscrew?

If all barrel screws are out you have no option than to pull harder, can you post a pic of left hand anti tamper.

It sounds like it was setup for 6-10 yard target / bell target which are restricted to 6fpe?
