Hello all

So i decided to purchase one of these bags ,thinking English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 made ,& uk company !
Read they are made in China ?? This could be false ??i don’t know 🤔

Anyway after one getting lost (DHL) &and the other replacement ran over by a fork lift ,the lost one turned up a couple of days ago !lol

I had a 👀 all appears to be well ,apart from a strap on the cone ,does not look central ,but i think it could be the design ,just looks off ,not sure ,also the long flat area up the centre (spine) at the bottom of the case is very lumpy (plastic insert ) not sure if they are all like that ?
I don’t like i cannot remove the shoulder straps as the strap is doubled over ,so u cannot pull it out to remove ?with out cutting the strap webbing ?
The size is good @ 45 ,not sure i need all the strapping inside ,also i think it could rub /damage the gun stock as its the plastic fantastic soft touch ,could mark it as its soft ,so i would need a cover making ??

So iam a little unsure if i have overdone things ,its has lots of features i don’t personally need ,the hood thing/straps 🤷the catches all around the zip ,i wont use ,but i suppose u could use them instead id the zip !

i have just seen they do a bigger FT bag ,that’s got or u can buy a insert to protect the finish of your rifle ! lol

Should i stick or twist 🃏or work with it ?

I know a lot of people rate them ,hence i purchased one ,also company nice to deal with ,as no bother sending me a replacement bag when the 1st one went on holiday lol

Any thought’s would be appreciated 🎄👍

I’ve had my 45 for just over a year and it’s just starting to break in. It’s a fabulously made bag that I’m very pleased I purchased it

You shouldn’t need to remove the shoulder straps as they tuck into the storage pocket? If memory serves you can remove them by taking the webbing out of the ladder locks, but as I said I tend to either leave them out for use or tuck them away

I’d stick with it if I were you, but equally you’d have absolutely no issue selling it on here

just think its i’ve over done a using as a range bag ,but as i said i can work with it ,but i need to buy a insert /cover ,i think they (AIM) sell them for the FT bag 👍🎄
I

I have the ft bags and love them big pockets and not cheap also have a odgen bag as well for a bullpup but prefer the aim bags more room. The odgen bag is the equal in the quality department with the aim bags

Odgen….Yes i’ve just seen them ,had no clue they existed as a British company and made in GB ,i would have purchased one of there’s as it looks perfect and british made !
Just trying to decide to either keep this one ,i do like it ,but its not perfect for me ,need a cover inside to protect my soft touch paint on my stock !
Yes there nothing else i’ve seen or read that has any negative to say with the AIM !

I don't have the soft touch inside. The only thing i changed were the straps inside to velcro like in the odgen bag as i prefer these than the buckle ones the aim bags come with.

The only bags I use, superb quality and perfect for HFT, as @Redtailhawk says, swap the buckle straps for Velcro when using for travel (HFT is in and out the bag every 2 mins)
The side pocket takes the rain cover, glove and snacks so good for a day out.

The bags are based on the UK forces bag, so built for abuse, mine are a few years old now but still look perfect.

My only comments would be, add a good DWR (water repellent coating), also the rain covers are great but the last two the stitching has come undone after a couple of uses, so these need a better quality check.

I prefer Ogden's, British made, better quality imho and fifty quid cheaper.
If i had seen this marque before ,i am sure i would of ordered one of there’s as look not as feature /fussy for what i need ,so will make decision of to keep or order one of there’s ,ile have a read/review up on them first 👍🎄

Thanks ,i would have thought they would be already treated /sprayed already ,i got a rain cover with it already !
So some Waterproof spray for fabric ,good advice ,as it will protect the fabric from stain /marking possibly 👍
