Well everyone- here it is!

The AGF BR20 will be held in 2024!

Same rules as 2023 to keep it simple, I will continue to adjudicate if you're happy with that and the spreadsheet maestro's will continue to be the team of Adam (@insertusernamehere ) and Andy (@pelletcaster ) with many thanks from me.

Start shooting it from January 1st. I have some targets I can distribute in packs of 12, see the thread below for details-

https://airgunforums.co.uk/threads/br-20-targets.53649/

Anyone who wants to take part is welcome at any time of the year. All you need to do is shoot a card (after having read the rules you'll find as a sticky) and scan or photograph the card and upload it on this thread and that's it, no fees etc- but no prizes either as this is a fun shoot to help your accuracy while you have fun doing so.

Any queries just ask on this thread and we'll help you.

Look forward to seeing and chatting with you all in 2024.

Have a good Christmas and a happy healthy new year.
Tony

Only joined halfway through 23 but have really enjoyed the personal challenge and learning curve on getting fundamentals right. I also love it when any member posts a card up , its just a nice feeling of being part of something .

and thank you to all that made it a thing .

Good luck and have fun !

Looking forward to BR24

Thats more than good enough buddy , by the looks of it your shooting outside like most of us seem to be doing so thats a good card , especially for this time of year with the all the weather we having .
I have been shooting nearly all of my life and unknowingly developed some bad habits just like most people do but you learn to shoot with those shitty habits which is not the answer . This in-house BR comp has highlighted those habits and in doing so has helped me no end in ironing them out , i have noticed my consistency is getting a little easier to maintain as time goes on and keeps pulling me back to those ever important fundamentals.

There are some excellent shooters on here that are only too willing to give there time with some guidance in the BR world as i have been luckily enough to find out .

Even my missus likes to have a go now and then under the radar . Yesterday she shot a 239/250 with x X’s
Which i thought was outstanding as first go at BR at 25m with an air rifle .

Many Thanks. I am enjoying the challenge and always appreciate advice and tips from all on here, also the encouragement.
My time is limited to weekends due to work, I have a perm. i get to when I can, but find myself becoming more target oriented these days for convenience.
I have a go at the 10m friendly pistol on here too, been sent targets from a member on here to be going on with, also cutting the deck, all helps to keep the eye in.
Fortunate to have a large garden, I can go out to 35mts, so can get set up for pretty much anything.
As for the wife, she has her own guns, but I’m not letting her loose, she is a natural and would probably put me to shame 😂😂😉👍.

That's exactly what this 'comp' is all about!
Get your wife to join The AGF and then she can tale part- 239/250 on the 1st attempt is excellent!

Thank you very much to all who make this possible, my grandsons and I will be looking to participate this year, but don't expect much from me, the eldest grandchild is another matter and I shall be looking to him to teach me.
A happy, healthy and prosperous New year to one and all and may 2024 bring you all the very best life has to offer

Thanks for continuing with the competition in 2024!! I'm looking forward to shooting with my 3 PCPs again 2 with scopes and the third with diopter and I definitely want to improve on my 10th position in the PCP class.
A Happy New Year to everyone

You're very welcome- glad you enjoy it!
