Same action and barrel but the block not machined for the swivel and plain stock as you say .
Early version stamped 121 . This model is the standard Sport , very scarce over here compared to the Deluxe .

I'm really pleased to see so many Feinwerkbau enthusiasts on here. My friend has a 127 Sport that he has owned from new since 1979. I have seen it and it is in 9/10 condition because of a few light marks on the stock.
I must get some pics of it to show you and show him your correspondence about them, to give him encouragement. Typically he has lost the enthusiasm about such a classic.

They can be a fragile unit, but if the basics are good, they make superb rifles
Service parts are still available, but take care on stripping and rebuilding as if the safety or trigger block threads get damaged, its game over

It's one of those that's a bit of a must
Set up well, they're as good a break barrel (and probably better in terms of build quality) than anything ever made
The FWB lot are no mugs

There is something about the FWB sport, a timeless classic that can still beat a lot of the competition. Looking forward to more update.

Mine is in pieces, just can't find time at the moment although did pick up a brand new Maccari walnut stock the other week. Can't wait to complete it.

Where did you find the stock?
I have this one (Macarri) but it doesn't fit my hand. I will refinish it and sell it eventually. I think he did a bunch of these in Himalayan walnut. Some of the diamonds in the checkers are chipped off but I know how to fix that. I bought it on eBay for cheap because the seller didn't know what he had. Turns out it was less than 20 miles from here.
The curve of the pistol grip doesn't work for me. My hands are too wide? I think it's inletted for a Weihrauch trigger guard.

Snap, just assembled mine this afternoon, brought the lot on flea Bay.

I bought my first back in very early 1975, still have it. It has been resealed and resprung twice in the 50 years I have owned it. Early on I put a Beeman/Williams receiver sight on it and it stayed several years until I got one of the 3x9 Beeman scopes. Several years back, during the Covid pandemic, I was going to get it out for my grandson to shoot and the first replacement seal had crumbled so had to send it out again. I got it back remounted the scope and found I just was not having much fun with it so put the receiver sight back on . It just balances and handles better with iron sights. I did acquire anothe very nice one a bit over a year ago and it too has a receiver sight. Most of the guns I have that can mount irons have receiver sights, mostly old Anschutz match sights. Even at 80 years old I prefer irons if possible, I had cataract surgery a couple of years ago and went from near sighted to far sighted so really do not need glasses for shooting any longer.

Hope its ok to share. Had my 124 out this evening for cutting the deck thread.

25 meters bag rested. Undeniably accurate rifles these. It has a standard HW77 spring on factory guide, HDPE sleeve and is running a little on the low side around 9ftlbs with 7.0 gr last time i checked. Fine for me. Trigger isnt amazing but it does the job

Yes. There's rumour of 125, a .22 version, but never seen one

I presume you mean the .25 version . Think it was a one off special .
