I have a 300bar 7lt bottle which is great but was considering getting another bottle as back up as it always seems to need a fill at the wrong time! I have been offered a 15lt bottle at a fair price with new test on it but it’s a 232bar bottle.

I only fill my rifles to 200bar so that’s fine but I do remember a lot of members saying 300bar bottles are better? Last longer?

Part of the issue will be the overhead, dropping 15ltr from 232 to 200
On say an AAS500 that is filled to 200, shot to 160 = 46 fill
A 300 Bar 7ltr tank (filled to 300) same other details = 68 fills

So while the large tank might seem worth taking, it will get less fills than a 300 7ltr.
But try the calculations, and parameters yourself, with the gun you use.

my friend has the same set up. He got the tested 15l 232bar bottle for £20 .
He decants from his 7l 300bar bottle into the 232 bottle to keep it topped up.
However i have no idea if it makes any sense?.
