I know this has most likely been done to death
After getting back in to air rifle shooting
I just stuck with .22 as that's what I used as a kid
But on looking at getting a pcp
There's the dilemma of what calibre to get , my mind was set on .22
But ater watching this I'm now 50_50 again

what I did take away from this .22 are better shooters 🤣🤣

Get both.

What’s it for brother airgunner! I too got back into shooting on .22 because it’s what I started on as a teen many years ago..
now I’ve a mix of both but I generally only hunt..
they are both equally as capable, as you probably know, .22 hits harder, that’s a fact, but with more of a drop, more holdover points to remember..
.177 easily equally as capable and though not hitting quite as hard, still very lethal with a much flatter trajectory, less holdover points to remember..
now after being back in the game but just for a couple of years, I like to use both for their own merits, but if I had to choose only one, I’d have to go for .177..✔️
👊

Welcome😊 the correct answer is, of course, 1 of each...
