👻BRK GHOST thread 👻

Would the regulator and valve removing tool for the ghost remove the anti tampered sub 12 reg even though it has the roll pin in ?
I could then if wanted to, replace with a new reg in the future . Is this so ?

the sub 12 airgunners one will take the reg out with the roll pin still in the adjuster screw 👍

I hope that you get your Ghost sorted @Gary1973

Mines dropped power since it was new. It used to shoot Sovereign Hunters at 11.7ftlb, and I found it shooting 11ftlb. I've looked at everything including tweeking the reg pressure back up which has cured the hammer bounce that it developed, but it's still only 11.3ftlb. I think the hammer spring has lost it's mojo, so I've ordered a pin probe from Bagnall and Kirkwood, so hopefully it will get the power back up and also index pellets smoother.

I fitted a pin probe to mine around 10 months ago and find it better than the original. Power difference was fairly marginal in an upward direction. I've also found the power down on mine by a little of late when tested outside but I checked it again at home with the rifle settled at 21 degrees C and it was spot on. I put it down to winter shooting conditions as most of my outings up until now this year have been out in the cold where it's been well under 10 degrees C. And it only takes a few fps or so to alter the ftlb figure by a decent margin.

Well, the results are in. Sovereign Hunters 11.7ftlb average and it's still shooting Barracuda Match/Bisley Magnums below 10ftlb. Cycles far better and still holds last shot open with the Carm mags, don't know what it would do with the BRK mags but I dont use those.
Result 👌🏻

Gun is performing really well.

Single shot variation and 11.7ft/lbs with Daystate hunters 10.33gr. Reg settled at 78bar and never moves/creeps now it’s settled.

Groupings at 25-45 yards are good and the Carm mags are amazing I have ordered 3 more and a rotating single shot loader.

A&M twink
Jeff’s mag holder and trigger
Prs rail
Prs butt hook
Carm mags
Alpex 4k lite
Brk cocking handle
Rowan single shot loader
Prs bag rider

Just waiting for the red/black grip from Form to arrive.

Something bigger is at play than a 6fps reduction in velocity will fix.

What I do know is that the two factory mags are being extremely rough on pellets. They are scoring the heads and damaging the skirts.

Single shot loading is super smooth the mags are not.

More testing with the SSL is needed, I swapped scopes today to rule that out again.

More testing to come just need to find the time.
With all of my original mags I found they have a small amount of burr which you can see reflecting light in the picture below.
So I have taken a small fine round needle file and carefully removed this buur in each chamber.

Help!! My ghost is not filling up with air, the air valve stays open after I finish with the compressor I can feel it leaking back through the whip. If I fire a shot I am still unable to remove the whip. It only comes of after all the air has purged....... what is going on and what is the solution anyone please 🥺. I was looking forward to shooting it today please advise AGF family thanks. One love ❤️ Ali

Sounds like the seal on the fill valve has failed. You will need to degas, remove it and take a look. Maybe just try a partial fill one more time and then shut off the bottle and open the bleed screw quickly to see if it will seal. If not it's going back to what I said first.

Thanks mate I will try as you suggested if that fails maybe degas and clean and change the oring...... anybody know the size of this o ring please just in case I need to swap it out?
