OOPs, I seem to have got onto the wrong foot here. I really didn't mean to complain. Just making an observation. I am perfectly all right with the requirement for 50 posts, and I promise I have not got lots of rubbish to sell.:)

No, I'm not desperate to sell it, and I'm not complaining. You are right, it doesn't take long to post 50 times. I was just wondering if it made much difference, given the monitoring that was explained was taking place anyway, which seems a more professional and less arbitrary way of achieving...

That's good to know, because I am new, and I want 50 points as I have a gun to sell, but I am conscious that I don't want to take the piss. I was on the previous forum, and contributed there, but not much, and also sold a couple of things. I agree that it shouldn't get out of hand, but does...

All Quiet on The Western Front best film BAFTA, told you it was good.

I loved the original, so I will give this a go.

    3rd party Magazines

What is your experience in using magazines not made by your rifle's manufacturer? I found good ones for the HW110, but they are simple mags, while for the Air Arms 410 the one I bought didn't really work. The trouble is they are generic and do not carry manufacturer's names, so I can't tell...

    Elemental Objects

Has anyone used these magazines yet? It looks to me like the magazines are self-indexing, certainly for Daystate and Air Arms, so it is necessary to remove the indexing system from the rifle itself. I take it that means you can no longer use the original non-self indexing mags that came with...

    Silencer/Moderator for Revere

As you would expect, Daystate recommend ODb silencers for the Revere. Have any Revere owners used anything different? How did it turn out? Regards, Richard

    Which would you choose

I am definitely treating myself to a new gun. I cannot decide between the FX Dreamline Classic and the Daystate Huntsman Revere. They are both super guns. The Revere seems to be quite luxuriously finished while the FX is a bit more plain and workmanlike. Does anyone have an experience or a...

    memory lane (gat gun)

I think mine disappeared when I dismantled it, took out the spring and the moving barrel, and gave it to my son aged about 6 as a play gun. God knows what neighbours who saw it thought!

What scope magnification for up to 40 meters ?

I thought that a higher mag would always be better, but as others have said the wobble can be a problem. I find 9 or 10 x to be enough.

    Shooting prone.

I fear it may just be age. I sometimes find it difficult to get into a comfortable position just shooting from a bench. Sitting cross legged with elbows on knees works quite well.
