I have been watching the Sales Section on the look out for a good used Airmaks Krait L or Standard not many showing up is that because people who buy them love the Rifle and don't sell on or the Market is slow and people hanging on to them anyway if anybody is thinking of selling let me know Thanks

They are a very accurate hunting rifle I use my krait L for mainly controlling local rabbit population.
I have several hunting rifles but the krait L is my go to one.

As above really.... sales generally are crap at present 😞..the two thirds guide price is certainly not working for me.

Regarding Krait....I have much more expensive rifles but my Krait lite Long has become a firm favorite in .177 & since I've added my arca rail & Accu-tac Bipod it's become less of a hunting rifle but my dedicated range rifle as it's so bloody accurate & nice to shoot 👌
.

I Purchased a second hand Krait L from here several weeks ago. So they do appear in the sales section occasionally.I can understand why people hold onto them. I've found it to be very accurate and also user friendly being left handed. I think this rifle is going to be a keeper.
Cheers
Shawn.

I bought my Krait L (.177) new about three years ago, and it has been faultless since taking it out of the box.
It is stunningly accurate and lovely to shoot. A big plus is it's a firm favourite with youngsters.

It is very definitely a high quality product. . The absence of them second hand is possibly due to owners loving them so much.

I think more people are holding on to a larger number of rifles. You then get a rifle like the Snowpeak 900 that everyone seems to want and the pennies are being spent on those.

When you hit where the higher end starts, Airmaks Krait, HFT 500 and the others where do you go for the next fix.

If I wanted to upgrade my HFT 500 I’d probably look at a Raw 1000 but I can’t afford £2,200 I also can’t afford to be stuck with an unused HFT 500 or taking a 2/3 value hit on it, with the market like it is, the chances are 1/3 off might not be enough.

Oil prices Sky high pushing the price of everything through the roof, people are not spending at the moment, those who can afford to spend are possibly not the sort who’d consider second hand anyway.

It also sounds like the Krait is a keeper.

I actually think people hoping to achieve 2/3rds price is optimistic right at this moment at time 😔....I have a fantastic Sightron Scope that's retailing at one pound less than £600 quid in sales beautiful quality glass & fantasticly built...I can't give it away at almost half price, luckily I'm in a position I don't need the cash.

Folks purchasing equipment are advised to make sure your going to keep your gear for a while because one things for sure... your going to take a massive hit on your wallet trying to move it on.

I would expect an odd Krait to pop up in June when the Krait 2 is released with people selling there Kraits to get the revised version.

A few Hw100's popped up for sale after the Hw100X was released, not many just the odd one.

Do I need it or do I want it - I had Sentinel Pro scope, I wanted a Sightron SII 36x42 but it wasn’t a must have. I watched one on eBay I managed to get it for £207.00

£265 is the 50% price on this and my maximum bid was £250

Possibly Mike... but the old hw100s had been out a long time, I personally can't see enough changes on Krait 2 for people to abandon what is a fantastic rifle.

Problem is once you've tasted the Cream..milk is second best 😉...same with most things.

There is a Krait for sale on Guntrader maybe just me looks a bit dodgy ask him a few Question never got back to me also ask was it a D22 or D23 receiver Did'nt know

I'm sure people on here will be quick to jump on this post but here goes.
I have asked for guidance on here in the past of what a potential sale may be worth.
Having listened to the informed, I then went on to sell the rifle on guntrader for 25% more, talking in the hundreds of pounds. No tyre kickers or the like just paid the asking price and done, the fella had guidance from someone in the know and was happy with the price. On here the majority want a bargain.
Don't get me wrong I've listed stuff on here at great prices and they've been snapped up. I've also bought rifles on here and they have been s#ite.
For me I've been through plenty of rifles in my short journey but now have rifles that I will only sell as I leave the hobby.
So what I'm saying I suppose is, buying on here is no more a guarantee over buying elsewhere.

The used marketplace boom, car boot sales, surplus stores, magazine & newspaper ads, ebay, digital advertising galore means there is a mass of used goods waiting for new owners, even suggests we are saturated in stuff! As the world wide manufacturers have become more effective at creating goods so then the quantity has increased considerably, possibly to the point of do we need anymore? There then is technology driven changes which draw the buyers in with new product ideas and improved performance etc. It all suggests we are heading into a mass disposable commodity era and the used market value will disappear, however there is the classics, Rolex watches, RR cars, Purdy gun, Monet paintings etc to consider, selective investors keeping an eye on these betting on the future value increases. All in all it leaves the individual to determine the value for themselves, with airguns and modern mass production to higher standards I crystal ball the valve decreasing considerably.......... there is the odd few though!
